I think one of the most difficult tasks in the world is naming your baby. Thanks to my stubborn need for a surprise package, we now face an even harder task of coming up with two names for our little pride and joy. It's also not made easier by the husband's surname, Rée (pronounced Ray), which gives a whole host of funny names ending with 'ray' as we find out one afternoon when my sister and cousins decide to list them out. To name a few; Ultra Violet Ray, Sunny Ray and one of my favourites, Sambal Sting Ray! My poor little bub has to endure some name calling even before it's born!
We also begin our baby shopping this week with a bit of apprehension - where on earth do we start? The husband quickly decides that he'll be in charge of the 'man stuff' like gadgets and electrical equipment while I take care of the 'cute stuff' like clothing and nappies. He chooses a bottle steriliser and is so pleased that it's not only on sale but it's also a 3 in 1 steriliser, steamer, and bottle warmer...Men!
