Week 30 :: The shopping coup

We're finally making some progress with our baby shopping. We now have on layby, a cot and a pram which we can collect anytime over the next few weeks. I'm feeling rather accomplished. Later in the week and arming ourselves with the baby checklist, the husband and I, along with Mummy Kat (I figure we will need some extra reinforcements) head into Target on Day 1 of their big toy sale. Squeezing through trolleys full of screaming kids and toys, we head into the nursery section and eventually emerge with a cot mattress, a bathtub, adorable 0000-sized onesies, plenty of face washers and baby bottles. And all on sale too...now we're really getting somewhere!

The Brambles Test

Things are also falling into place at my antenatal appointment as Dr V checks on the position of the baby and remarks that it's head down and will probably remain there until full-term. At approximately 1.5 kg, there's still quite a lot more growing for this little one to do. He sends me off for a routine glucose tolerance test and puts me down to see him in two weeks.
